Adaptronic E420c Standalone

Adaptronic e420c

you can view the details of the product at the adaptronic site.

I first saw this from Initial B of MLPH. Benjamin Go, he put this on a corolla 20v individual throttle body with turbo! The results are amazing. I would love to post the output of the car, but i have'nt asked the permission to do so, to say the least, wrx sti output is on a featherweight class. :)

Benj is the only authorized distributor of Adaptronic in the Philippines. Adaptronic has been making a headway in the Philippines mainly in the Toyota clubs. All of them a happy customer.

This is the first 4g92a SOHC that uses an adaptronic ecu (Philippines). Its relatively cheap compared to other standalone management system. [Operative word: standalone and not piggyback]

some functions i have used:
1. Traction control - i just tried it, but im not sure if it was the right setting, but its not helpful for me. (I only tried it just for the sake of trying it.)
2. Launch control - useful for me. specially on drag or grid
3. data logging - combine it with the datalog of the gps info, it becomes a powerful tool to get your lap times better.
4. AFR tuning - i don't think i need to explain this.
5. Ignition tuning - standard
6. rpm limit setting - tried raising it to 7.2K but i guess its none sense since there's no "pull" past 6K already. This is based on dynobutt! we will be tuning the car through dyno on Feb last week to prepare it for Circuit showdown.

the combinations are limitless it totally depends on how the tuner would be able to capitalize on the auxiliary input and output. (anti lag system is possible even at the entry level adapatronic)

and one more thing, (sound familiar???)
if you have a wideband AFR guage with serial output or 5V output, you can tune your car yourself by setting your own target AFR and let the ecu do the rest!

oh did i also told you that the ecu can control the boost per gear as well?... :)

Rendering at its best!

Here's my take on rendering... Hope you like it. This is my 2'04" line. This was done last december 2011 during the christmas break!.. hehehe....

Suspension:

XYZ coilover (untuned)

Brakes:
Evo 3 brakes front
disc brakes rear

Engine:
4g92a SOHC
T25 turbo
Adapatronic ECU e420c

Unfortunately, that was a shakedown. Things my friend/mechanic/sponsor would have to complete before 2012 Circuit Showdown. (initial B or Benjamin Go of MLPH).

1. Corner weighting
2. turbo maintenance (oil leaking)
3. Replace flwheel
4. dyno tune
5. alignment
6. tires -- need to buy new tires! (now accepting donations! lol)

Benjamin Go is the only authorized distributor of Adaptronics! Not only does he install adaptronic products but also designs custom manifolds for turbo's. He also has his own supply of aftermarket parts.

Exedy clutchs, suspension, brakes, etc... (basically all the aftermarket parts installed on Roxy came from Benj)

Thanks Benj!

I will be giving Adaptronic standalone management unit a review on my next post.
